About Me

I started formal dance classes at the age of three and little did I know at the time, movement would become a lifelong endeavor and passion. I often set out in pursuit of a movement-oriented goal, which I enjoy most of all, when it's coupled with spending time in the great outdoors!  My fitness efforts include running, strength training, yoga, and meditation. These days recreational activities like paddle boarding, snowboarding, and mountain biking keep me content, and it’s not uncommon for me to get talked into a road or trail race. If I can do any of this with my husband, teenage daughter, and our two Portuguese Water Dogs, even better! I also love time spent with friends, meaningful conversations, reading and learning, cooking, and live music.

Training Philosophy

Having spent nearly 20 years observing movement, I have most recently committed to the field of Kinesiology, the study of human movement. Although most of us long to be strong and fit, functional and pain free, the process of deliberately establishing strength can also require re-establishing the body’s muscular balance and joint stabilization, I enjoy working towards those goals. It is imperative and fun to push our limits while progressively overloading our bodies. I believe we can do this best if we start where you are and commit to a process. My clients leave sessions with an inspired reset that will get them thinking about how they are moving not just in the gym, but in their lives.
